CrossFit Barbell

Technical exercise with a barbell focused primarily on technique and dynamics of these two Olympic disciplines: Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Suitable for everyone who’s trying new things with working with BarBell.

The class is also suitable for complete beginners, as learning the technique begins with zero weight in the form of a wooden stick and can be individually increased to lift technically correct repetitions on the Olympic loaded BarBell.

In class, we practice a number of additional exercises for gaining strength, explosiveness, dynamics and flexibility. If you are looking for the right technique in working with a BarBell, accuracy, quality, improvement of body flexibility and at the same time you want to work on the strength of your legs and upper body, then this is exactly what you are looking for.

You burn a lot of calories during your workouts in a short amount of time. CrossFit Barbell is a great way to decrease body fat, build muscle, increase strength and maximize your time strength training. Snatches and clean and jerks produce some of the highest power outputs in all of sport.

It’s not exactly entry-level. To do the full lifts safely requires very good mobility, flexibility and balance. This shouldn’t put you off – practising the positions is a great way to improve.

Obviously, CrossFit Barbell is a relatively dangerous sport because it requires great amount of exerted force. Without the correct form and posture, activities can often result in the injuries. And that is why we have experienced and competent coaches so you will be safe.

Health attributes include core strength, back development, lung capacity, and reducing fat and gaining muscles. CrossFit Barbell also increases an individual’s patience, control, and offers the ability to learn a new mindset.
